[ e58st exercise room ]
This project involved the reimaging on an existing exercise room at a co-op high rise in the east 58th area of Manhattan. The client wished for a neutral and cool tone look that would try to straddle the line between aggressive modern lines and timeless tones, keeping the design fresh and relevant for an extended period.
This look was accomplished with the use of linear striated Wolf Gordon wallpapers, waved ASI millwork panels, and grooved glass tiles. By emphasizing the contrast between low ceilings (hiding the HVAC system) and the exposed waffle slab above, the project is able to make the most of the existing conditions of the space
