CAT-SITTING DIRECTIONS:

- Please replace keys in the lockbox so the next person will be able to access the apartment. Twist the numbers to randomize, so people can’t get in.
- A full of keys are left with these instructions. These include mailbox & laundry room keys. These can be left on the kitchen counter upon leaving.

DAILY PET TASKS
MORNING: 9 – 10 a.m.
Cat Food: Serve 1/2 can of Natural Balance pate wet food to each cat – Nala (white cat) & Sesame (orange cat). So there will be ONE full can split between the two of them. They have a feeding station on a shelf in the nook at the end of the kitchen.
NIGHT: 9 – 10 a.m.
Cat Food: Serve 1/2 can of Weruva gravy wet food to each cat – Nala (white cat) & Sesame (orange cat). So there will be ONE full can split between the two of them. They have a feeding station on a shelf in the nook at the end of the kitchen.
Meds (Nala – white cat)
She gets one pre-cut Dexamthasone pill at night daily.We crush the pill and place in a water syringe and shoot it in her mouth while she is eating to ensure she gets it. You may also use a pill pocket if preferred, just make sure she doesn’t spit it out. After a few days of pill pockets she usually catches on so please make sure she swallows it.
Teeth Cleaning (Sesame /Nala): Take gauze pad in blue box above cat food and put a little peroxide on it. Hold mouth and rub upper gums. It’s easiest to do when they are sitting on the shelf waiting for food. If they don’t let you though you can skip it.
Litter: Scoop daily. Use bags above the litter boxes and drop down hallway chute by stair (tie bag so it doesn’t fall down the chute loose). Please do NOT place in kitchen trash as it makes the apartment smell.

ADDITIONAL:
Play time: Sesame LOVES playing with toys – especially lasers. Nala likes antagonizing Sesame.;-)
Off-limits: Kitchen counters, stove etc. are off limits to the cats, except their feeding table. If you see them on counters please spray them with water.
Messes: If the pets have any accidents cleaning supplies are in the tall storage area to the left as you enter the kitchen. Paper towels are by the sink. Additional paper towels are in the tall thin cabinet above the coffee machine.
Tech:
- Wifi Password on router
- Streaming passwords saved on Roku
- XBox can be used under sundanceuiuc, push up on pad until it logs in ^^^^^^.
- Batteries if needed in tv console drawer at right.
Mail: If you could check mail a couple times while we are gone so it doesn’t fill, that would be great!
Laundry Room: If you’re staying overnight and need to do laundry the room is in the basement. There is a laundry card on the fridge that can be used to pay for the washer & dryer. There is a machine in the basement to refill the card if funds are low.

The cat carriers are in the hall coat closet on the top shelf. There is a step stool in Andy’s office if needed to reach them. Hopefully these won’t be needed though.
